On Saturday 27th from 2pm at the Old Market Square we're going to break the Guinness World Record record for World’s Largest Practical Science Lesson!
Come and test your nerves and tackle several fantastical (but mostly harmless) science experiments as we aim to smash the current record of 276 participants. We need YOU to help the festival go out with a bang by spending the day making history/science experiments/a big mess. Participants will be led through a series of fun experiments for 30 minutes, involving slime, pop rockets and more, and it’s totally FREE!
Participants must be aged 6+ and under 16’s must be supervised by an adult. Record breakers are asked to arrive at 2pm for the counting in and sign up process before the record attempt begins! There'll be lots of fun science-y things happening while you wait!
